The 2025 Explorer introduced a mid-cycle refresh (and a wealth of updates), and the 2026 Explorer continues that trend with some exciting new features! Most exciting of all, adventurous drivers can check out the all-new Explorer Tremor. This midsize SUV comes standard with everything you need to explore Florida’s upland scrub and sandhill trails, from all-wheel drive to all-terrain tires.

The upcoming Explorer also offers some new aesthetic choices. First, there’s a new paint color, Marsh Gray. And all five trim models are now available with a panoramic fixed-glass roof with a power shade. When you’re in the mood for some extra sunshine, you’ll get plenty of it! If not, the power shade helps keep the cabin cool.

Finally, we’ll see a few new tech features. Every 2026 Explorer comes with a one-year subscription to the Ford Connectivity Package. It’ll help you in your travels with Google-based navigation and a Wi-Fi hotspot that lets you surf the Web on up to 10 devices! And speaking of travels, the BlueCruise system is more widely available for 2026. This hands-free driving technology is newly optional for the ST-Line and Tremor and standard for the Platinum.
