The 2027 Ford Super Duty receives a streamlined powertrain lineup, broader off-road options, and additional technology. Ford has dropped both the 6.8-liter gas V8 and standard-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel, leaving the 7.3-liter "Godzilla" V8 as the standard gas engine on XL, XLT, Lariat, and King Ranch models.

Diesel buyers now get the 6.7-liter High-Output Power Stroke exclusively, producing 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. The high-output diesel is also standard on select upper-level configurations, including Platinum and F-450 models.

Off-road capability becomes more accessible for 2027, with the Tremor Off-Road Package expanding to the XL trim and becoming available with additional Crew Cab and long-bed configurations.

Ford also adds a 35-inch tire option for the XL Off-Road Package, a Platinum Chassis Cab, and new appearance packages, including Proud to Honor and Carhartt editions. Inside, available upgrades include a digital rearview mirror, while Lariat and higher trims feature a 12-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Four-wheel drive also becomes standard beginning with the King Ranch trim, further simplifying the Super Duty configuration ladder.
